It’s funny, because the official Kazuki Instagram account always makes sure to never refer to Rei or Miri by name. They have “Kazuki” refer to them as “my partner” or “my daughter.” One time, the person running the account accidentally had “Kazuki” refer to Rei by name, but they went and edited the post to “partner.” Anyway, it’s always so funny, because whenever “Kazuki” mentions his “partner” or “daughter” in a post, all of the comments are like:

“REI [insert gushing here]!!!” or “MIRI [insert gushing here]!!!” lol

Everyone just refers to them by their names. It always gets a chuckle out of me.

But, I do appreciate how the account is making for a great example of how to family blog in a morally sound way. It’s nice to see.

Hey Baba, it seems like you've been seeing a lot of yucky stuff online right now. A lot of people who aren't remembering their manners and are forgetting that there's people behind a screen. I know you like your screen time but please remember that the world isn't all like that okay? Some people are different online and forget their values and let's remember that these days, algorithms perpously show you things that'll make you upset. Yes, yes it's not very fair, is it sweetheart. Please remember to take some breaks and that the world isn't really like that. It's so important to protect yourself. Yes, silly even if you think you don't deserve it; because you do.

Journalist Malak Abu Hussein documents the airdropping of several “aid” parcels over Jabaliya camp market this morning. You can clearly see the parachutes become tangled in power lines and other objects. It seems no country will send aid to north Gaza unless they can make it as hazardous as possible.

It's that time of the year again where I look back on everything I crocheted over the past year. Looks like this was the year of the hanging plants! There were a handful of crochet things that I didn't have time to photograph bc they had sold immediately during the many markets I participated in this year, including some donut coasters, strawberry charms (final photo taken by @its.greychen !), and a variety of other plants. Thank you to everyone who bought one of these from me!! You've truly helped me embrace my love for botany, despite me having a black thumb lol. My high school self (half of my lifetime ago!?) would be so proud to hear that I'm still crocheting into adulthood. Here's to more projects in the new year!
